Give me persistence over intensity any time!

When looking at people who are successful whether it be in business or in their personal lives, I find it is the persistent ones that 'get things done'.

These are the people who are prepared to 'get off their arse' to achieve a target, goal or dream more than once.

They don't go at things like a bull at a gate. They do measured activities on a regular basis, redefine remeasure and continue on the journey.

Achieving success or a goal is the classic hare and tortoise story.

The hare goes mad at the beginning, works hard loses interest and gives it away, the tortoise is persistent, patient and perseveres, that's why he wins, because he is still going long after the hare has given up.
